Christmas Toy Campaign

At Marena Murray, we believe in spreading the magic of Christmas by making it brighter for every child. Join us in our Christmas Toy Campaign and bring joy to those who may not receive a gift this holiday season.

Once again, the Cartagena City Council launches the 'Juguetea' toy collection campaign that will begin on December 7 with the motto This Christmas, give a smile, as announced by the Councilor for Social Services, Cristina Mora. The goal is that no child in Cartagena is left without their gift this Christmas.

From December 7 to 23, companies, organizations and private individuals can bring their gifts to the Sports Palace, "so that together we can make the girls and boys of Cartagena smile these holidays, because a small detail generates a great illusion" commented Mora.

In the last campaign, 1,586 children, between 0 and 12 years old, received about 3,200 toys. "This year we are organizing it with the greatest enthusiasm and effort because we believe and defend that play is a right for all boys and girls, and this is reflected in article 31 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Furthermore, This year, due to the high inflation that we suffer in our country, a large number of families cannot meet their most basic needs and many of them will not have the capacity to make the little ones in the house enjoy a gift on the magical day. of “Wise Men” the councilor added.

The Cartagena City Council requests entities, organizations and residents of Cartagena, as in previous years, for new toys that are suitable for boys and girls between the ages of 0 and 12 and that encourage their imagination. Citizens will be able to deliver their toys from December 7 to 22 at the Sports Palace. The entities will make the delivery between December 18 and 22 in the same place.

Drop off your donations at the Marena Murray Property Office by Friday, December 22nd.
The gifts will then be wrapped and distributed to those in need.
